Derek Veselich
As the owner of Ground Up Foundation Repair, Derek Veselich has built his career and this company on one simple principle: do the job right the first time. With more than 15 years of experience in foundation repair and waterproofing, Derek is deeply committed to protecting Middle Tennessee homes from the ground up.
Derek launched GUFR in 2009 with Jim Yancey after seeing too many homeowners left with short-term fixes and no real answers. Today, he leads a team of trained, honest, and hard-working professionals who share his mission: to provide permanent solutions with top-quality craftsmanship and service that feels personal. He believes no homeowner should have to live with stress about their foundation, crawl space, or concrete, and he works every day to earn that trust.
Derek takes pride in serving Tennessee, the community he calls home. He’s especially passionate about helping families stay safe, dry, and stable, whether that means lifting a sinking driveway or sealing a musty crawl space for good. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and two kids, enjoying the same neighborhoods he helps protect.
