Character carries more weight than a resume
We can teach pier installation, drainage, and concrete lifting. We cannot teach someone to care about the work. Here is what we look for in everyone who joins a Ground Up crew.
- 01 Character first. Show up when you said you would, tell the customer the truth, and treat their home like your own.
- 02 Accountability. Own the work in front of you. If something is not right, say so early and help make it right.
- 03 Teamwork. Crews depend on each other in tight crawl spaces and around heavy equipment. Look out for the person next to you.
- 04 Craftsmanship. Do the job the way it should be done rather than the fastest way to get off the site.
- 05 Willingness to learn. You do not need years in the trade to start. You do need to want to get better at it.
- 06 Respect for safety. Follow the procedure, wear the gear, and stop the work when something looks wrong.

Clean out, encapsulate, and dry crawl spaces: vapor barriers, insulation, dehumidifiers, and vent sealing.
Concrete Repair
Concrete Leveling Technician
Lift and level sunken driveways, sidewalks, patios, and garage floors, and repair cracked and failing slabs.
Framing Repair
Framing and Structural Carpenter
Sister and replace floor joists, beams, sill plates, and support posts under homes with sagging or rotted framing.
